Using only the finest calfskin and cashmere, TSE introduces a handbag collection that's fluid in theme and divine in construction.
Known for her focused simplicity, Tess Giberson starts her collection with a multifunctional leather weekender available in lama - a rich, creamy camel - and plongee - a shiny black with hints of pewter. The zipper tote easily converts from its gathered state to a rectangular duffle. Designed not only for versatility, the handles then complete a chic yet effortless look with a woven topstitch detail.
While topstitching drives the focus of the collection, a large silver ring dipped in the middle acts as a focal point for another of the collection's prize pieces. The shoulder flap bag is sleek yet functional without the bulk of a super-sized carryall.
Continuing with the topstitching detail, a triangular shopper proves the most popular of the series. The style - trimmed with woven leather handles is available in the same milky leather as the others as well as a strong black cashmere suitable for any occasion.
Finally, a standout piece designed for today's multifunctional woman, is a square, almost brief-case like handbag. With symmetrical square zipper pockets on the front and continuing v-stitched side detailing, the pocketbook has a soft presence despite its screaming patent shell.
Available mid-July 2007, the intimate collection will expand the TSE lifestyle embodying unforced but tailored style. Beginning mid-July, the collection will be available in all U.S. TSE direct retail outlets as well as Hong Kong and Japan's TSE shop-in-shop stores.
